From the desk of Pastor Rex Fleming
Attention Supporter:
It is with faith that I greet you in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as I guide and nurture the Fleming Chapel congregation. The cornerstone informs us that the building completed in 1910 and sometime after that the structure was dedicated as a place of religious worship. One will find it located just North West of the Pitt Greenville-Airport within the Hillsdale community in the Greenville area of Pitt County, North Carolina. Since this inception, God has blessed it to remain and grow for more than 100 years. The church family has given continued support and we are strong but few in numbers. Our friends have often shown their love through strong support with attendance for faith. We want to continue to reach souls and draw them to the Kingdom of God!
Currently, we are experiencing growing pains and need renovations! We have launched a building and renovation project to add an additional 3,000 sq. ft to the existing building because the dining room and kitchen have deteriorated beyond repair and must be demolished and rebuilt. We believe that all things are possible and we are stepping out in and with faith by asking you to believe and pray along with us. I am reminded of the song “I Know the Lord Will Make a Way” –yes He will! Through you He will provide us with the finances needed for the expansion. You and/or members of your family grew up in and around Fleming Chapel Church.
We are asking you to become involved with us and plant seeds of hope and show love by sending us a donation in the spirit of your past with Fleming Chapel. Your seed offering may be sent to our mailing address at P. O. Box 461, Greenville, NC 27835 Attention: “Fleming’s Seed Project” and note to the care of Pastor Rex Fleming so that I will pray and ask God to anointed and bless for it (you seed donation) and send you an acknowledgement. We are very excited about what the Lord is doing in the lives of your family, the church family and mine –
His people! Periodically you will receive an update about the progress of the project as it develops. All donations of $100.00 or more will be acknowledged on a plaque with your name.. A golden plaque will carry the names of the $500.00 contributors and/or the honoree of your choice for your giving. The individual could be the name of any friend, family, a family member or any person you want to identify whether the person is deceased or living. This will be a long-lasting and visible monument to your family and its connection with Fleming Chapel.
